2020 Senior Spring Athlete Recognition 

We will be posting 2020 Senior Spring Athlete Recognitions in the following weeks. Thank you to our seniors and best of luck in the future.

Isabel Gonzalez - Girls Lacrosse 

I will be attending the University of Pittsburgh. My favorite memory was helping to clean up Sully Historic Site with my lacrosse teammates since it was both fulfilling and a way for us to bond over odd objects we found around the park.

Sasha Gonzalez - Girls Lacrosse 

I will be attending Purdue University. My favorite memory was getting slushies with my coaches and teammates after being exhausted at the Annandale Tournament.

Taylor Hannam-Zatz - Girls Lacrosse 

I will play lacrosse at Ohio Northern University and pursue a degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering. My favorite memory was making it to regionals junior year because Chantilly had not made it in many years.

I will be attending Virginia Tech. My favorite memory was beating Langley to win the regional tournament in field hockey!

I will be attending VCU. My favorite memory was beating Oakton in region final at Oakton my sophomore year.

I am going to school in Ohio to study criminal justice and play football. My favorite memory was when the football team beat Centreville for the first time in years.

I will be joining the U.S. Marines. My favorite memory was getting to be with my teammates at the team dinners and playing our hardest.

I will be attending Penn State University. My favorite memory was winning the Region championship as a sophomore.

I will be taking a year at NOVA and then transferring to VMI. My favorite memory was my sophomore year when we were playing kickball during practice and Robby Ceh got in the way at home plate.

I will be attending Mary Washington University. My favorite memory was winning the Regional championship in 2018.

Will be attending Shenandoah University. My favorite memory was going to Myrtle last year and finally coming together as a team to win.

Will be attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for Biomedical Engineering. My favorite memory was when all of the team would be jamming out to music on the bus rides to and from games even when we don't know the lyrics.

Attending Texas A&M University. My favorite memory was spring break with the team.

Will be attending Virginia Tech. My favorite memory was beating Oakton in the district playoffs last year and hanging out with the team in the locker room during the storm that delayed the game.

Will be attending Hamilton College. My favorite Chantilly Athletics memory was playing in the state tournament in our playoff run my sophomore year.

Attending Holy Cross to play baseball. My favorite memory was coming back to beat Westfield when we were down 8-0 in the 6th inning.

Will be attending Virginia Tech to study business. My favorite Chantilly Athletics memory was having fun with my teammates and competing with them.

I plan on attending William and Mary, possibly pursuing the pre-med track. My favorite memory was coming in for relief against Centreville and pitching four hitless innings to help the team win in extra innings.

College to be determined. My favorite Chantilly Athletics memory was winning the Virginia State Little League Championship game in 2013.

Will be attending Bridgewater College. My favorite memory was the Centreville JV game when Sophie and I were working and we were SO WET and it was cold, but it was so much fun.

Will be attending Virginia Tech to major in business. My favorite memory was when a bird pooped on Mia Pham's head at practice twice.

Going to Penn State. My favorite memory was winning districts!

Will be attending Princeton University and playing soccer. My favorite memory was assisting the game tying goal against Yorktown in the region semis two years ago which led to us beating them in PK's to send us to states.

Attending Saint Vincent College. My favorite memory was scrimmaging Fairfax High School because I had friends on both sides of the ball and it was an amazing memory to end the season on.
